Purple Sea Moss
Purple sea moss is rare! Its beautiful hue is from anthocyanins, making the sea moss even more powerfully rich due to the restorative antioxidants.
Sea moss contains balancing minerals such as Zinc, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Iodine, Sulfur, B12 etc.
The minerals are in the rocks where authentic sea moss is grown. Therefore the source (wildly rock grown) does matter as it is naturally loaded with an abundance of minerals the way nature intended. Our bodies need constant replenishment of essential minerals to thrive and fight foreign invaders, those which cause dis-Ease.
Add to smoothies, sauces, drinks, dressings or eat a tablespoon or two right off the spoon if texture and taste is not a big deal for you, go for it!
HOW TO PREPARE:
1. Rinse thoroughly at least 4 times to get all sand and seashells out. (strainer can be used for easement)
2. Soak at least one time for 15 min with a small amount of distilled vinegar and baking soda.
3. Final soak for 24 hours with key lime or lemon, which neutralizes the (sea aroma and tast), rinse well, make a gel by blending with spring or distilled water, use only a small amount of water in order to form gel for purple sea moss. (start with a little amount of water, add more to you reach desired consistency. Blend for extended time to form gel . Cool in refrigerator, Gel with thicken as it cools ! Store in glass container !
Sea moss gel should be made in small batches, as it stores best for up to 3 weeks once made. The entire batch of dried sea moss does not need to be soaked and blended all at once, just depending on your desired use.

Recommended to store in refrigerater 3 weeks . Freezer for up to 1 year .
